Linda Wood Edwards owns LUE-42 Enterprises, a consultancy formed in 1999 that focuses on board governance in the third sector. She is a Certified Association Executive and a Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute of Canada. She holds a Bachelor of Administration degree, a certificate in human resources management, and the Accredited Director designation. Linda consults on board governance to organizations across Canada and serves as Corporate Secretary to several of them. She is CGIC’s Chief Examiner for 3 of 7 Corporate Governance and a facilitator in the Directors Education and Accreditation Program.
Linda is a director with the Canterbury Foundation, a not-for-profit seniors housing community in Edmonton, and has also served as a public member on the Councils of three regulated professions. Linda loves boards, is the author of two books (board-related) and 15 plays (decidedly not board-related), as well as a popular monthly e-zine with a focus on governance. Linda is also a Certified Funeral Celebrant, a popular speaker and emcee, a devoted fan of the Canadian Football League, and is working her way to certification as a Beer Judge
