CGIC Announces 2026-2027 Board of Directors: A Strong Blend of Experience, Renewal and Governance Leadership

The Chartered Governance Institute of Canada (CGIC) is pleased to announce its 2026-2027 Board of Directors; a distinguished group of governance professionals who will guide the Institute through the coming year and support the continued advancement of governance excellence across Canada and the broader jurisdictions in which we operate.

With President Dr. Sterling Frost FCG, continuing in office, the Institute benefits from leadership continuity while welcoming new members to both the Executive Committee and Board of Directors. The composition of the Board reflects a balance of experience, fresh perspectives and a shared commitment to strengthening the Institute and the governance profession.

“This year’s Board brings a wealth of experience, diverse perspectives and a deep commitment to the Institute’s mission” said Professor of Practice Dr. Sterling Frost FCG, President. “As we continue to build on recent progress, I am confident that this Board will provide the leadership and oversight necessary to advance our strategic priorities, strengthen member engagement and further elevate the profile of governance professionals across Canada and beyond”.

CGIC is pleased to confirm the re election of Dora Koop FCG and Andrew Todd FCG to three year terms.

CGIC also welcomes Sapna Gupta ACG and Martin Zeghati ACG elected to three year terms and J.L. Gilles LeVasseur FCG elected to a two year replacement term.
