Dora Koop, FCG, ICD.D

Dora Koop is a governance consultant and facilitator. She is an experienced director and sits on the Board of Million Peacemakers. She has been a member of the Canadian Air Traffic Security Authority(CATSA) Board, a director on the Boards of Ten Thousand Villages and MCC, a global relief agency. Currently she teaches the Development of Strategy Course for the Internationally recognized certification for Chartered Secretaries and Chartered Governance Professionals.
Dora spent her career at McGill University where she was responsible for the delivery of innovative leadership programs and international programming with global partners. Her experience also includes managing a research institute with financial and program accountability to private and public donors.

Other professional activities include coaching executives and facilitating seminars on team efficiency and productivity and board development. She has lectured at McGill University and has been an invited speaker at various conferences.

Dora holds a law degree from the University of Alberta, an MBA from McGill University, the ICD.D designation with the Institute of Corporate Directors and is a Fellow with CGIC.
