Dr. William A Basztyk, PhD, MBA, FCG, PAdm, FCIM, FIIC, FCIP, RGD, CBiol, FRSB, CChem, FRSC(UK).

Dr. William (Bill) Basztyk is the President/CEO of 4UGO Inc. involved in venture development, marketing and management and the CEO & Scientific Director of Interpro Bioscience Inc. focused on applying human health factors in the natural and built environments. Prior to his current ventures he was a professor of Entrepreneurship and International Trade at George Brown Polytechnic for 30 years. Concurrently, he was the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Suriname for Canada where he was the head of post for 20 years along with operating his own corporate consulting practice. He has also served as an Adjunct Professsor at Seneca Polytech and Associate Professor at the Canadian School of Management. The author of several books on Recruitment, Motivation, Interior Environmental Health, Insolvency Prediction, Retail Management and Insurance.

In addition to a PhD in Business Administrationand an MBA, Dr. Basztyk is a Fellow (FCG) and Professional Administrator (P.Adm) with the Chartered Governance Institute of Canada having qualified as a Chartered Secretary in 1982. Basztyk is also a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of Canada (FIIC,FCIP), the Chartered Institute of Marketing (Chartered Marketer, FCIM) and a Registered Graphic Designer with the Association of Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario. A qualified scientist, he is a Chartered Biologist and Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology (CBiol., FRSB) and a Chartered Chemist and Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (CChem., FRSC (UK)).

Basztyk has provided governance expertise to the boards and committees of several corporations, municipalities and non profilt entities including Canadian Jewellers Association, Royal Ontario Museum, Anglican Church of Canada, Township of Brock, Brock Community Health Center, and Region of Durham amongst others.

Dr. Basztyk has been honoured as a recipient of His Majesty King Charles III Coronation Medal and a commission of Honorary Colonel and ADC to the Governor of Kentucky.
