Linda Wood Edwards, BAdmin, CAE, FCG, Acc.Dir.

Linda Wood Edwards owns LUE-42 Enterprises, a consultancy formed in 1999 that focuses on board governance in the third sector. She is a Certified Association Executive and a Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute of Canada. She holds a Bachelor of Administration degree and certificates in human resources management and program evaluation. Linda consults on board governance to organizations across Canada and serves as Corporate Secretary to several of them. Linda is an exam reviewer and DEAP facilitator in governance and strategy for the CGIC.

Linda is for the third time serving as a public member on the Council of a regulated profession in Alberta. She is also a director with the Canterbury Foundation, a seniors housing community in Edmonton. Linda has considerable board experience, including as Chair of the Community Services Advisory Board (City of Edmonton) and Women Building Futures. Linda is the former Executive Director and Registrar of a professional association and the current Executive Director equivalent for the Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating in Edmonton. Linda is the author of two books (board-related) and 14 plays (decidedly not board-related) as well as a popular monthly e-zine with a focus on governance. 

Linda is also a Certified Funeral Celebrant, a popular speaker, and emcee, a devoted fan of the Canadian Football League, and is working her way to certification as a Beer Judge. To learn more visit www.LUE42.com
