Linda Wood Edwards, BAdmin, CAE, FCG, Acc.Dir.

Linda Wood Edwards owns LUE-42 Enterprises, a consultancy formed in 1999 that focuses on board governance in the not-for-profit sector. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute of Canada, a Certified Association Executive, and she holds a Bachelor of Administration degree. Linda consults on board governance to organizations across Canada and contracts as Corporate Secretary to several of them. Linda is the Chief Examiner for Corporate Governance with CGIC and DEAP a facilitator in governance and strategy.

Linda is a volunteer director with the Canterbury Foundation, a seniors housing community in Edmonton. She has also served as a public member on the boards of three regulated professions. In addition, Linda has been Chair of the Community Services Advisory Board (City of Edmonton) and Women Building Futures. Linda is the former Executive Director and Registrar of a professional association and the current Executive Director equivalent for the Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating in Edmonton. Linda is the author of two books (board-related) and 14 plays (decidedly not board-related) as well as a popular monthly e-zine with a focus on governance. 

Linda is also a Certified Funeral Celebrant, a popular speaker, and emcee, a devoted fan of the Canadian Football League, and is working on her certification as a Beer Judge. To learn more visit www.LUE42.com
