Would you like to be part of a dynamic and engaged governance board with one of the premier
National Sport Organizations in Canada?

Whether your expertise lies in financial and risk management, governance, business
partnerships and fundraising, or safe sport, come share your knowledge with Gymnastics
Canada (“GymCan”) and help shape a positive, diverse gymnastics culture and experience.
Founded in 1969, GymCan has been supporting the mastery of movement in Canada for
decades. As one of only three Olympic sports considered ‘foundation sports’ by the
International Olympic Committee and Sport Canada, GymCan serves more than 350,000
athletes in more than 1,700 clubs across the country.

As a director, you will play a key role in advancing the continued growth and development of
gymnastics in Canada. Join other skilled and diverse professionals with a common interest and
commitment to helping this sport organization advance. Using your experience and skills you
will participate in overall governance, direction-setting, strategic planning and oversight. The
ability to do somersaults is not required.
